We’ve ALL been there. You go to clean your window because there’s some moisture beading up on the glass and you wipe the glass to no avail. It’s then you realize that the moisture or foggy effect is actually in between the layers of glass. No judgement – We’ve all done it. But that foggy moisture isn’t something to ignore. It likely means that your windows have a broken or “popped” seal. Depending on the humidity and temperatures inside and out, moisture could be visible one day and gone the next. But it’s important to get it taken care of quickly, as cold air is likely entering through your windows because of it. This could not only affect the inside temperature of your home, but your energy bill as well.

Great – So what now?! There is a DIY fix for the issue, but because of the complexity of the work it may be in your best interest to hire a professional. Also, if you think you may sell your home in the next few years, having a professional fix or replacement with a long-lasting warranty may just be your best bet.
