Located just north of Columbus in Marengo, Groovy Plants Ranch is an oasis and a must visit. This unique and beautiful place offers SO MANY plants – from beginner options to unique and rare, plant lovers will rejoice at the massive variety offered here.
We met with the co-owner, Liz, to talk about this one-of-a-kind greenhouse. Liz and her husband, Jared started Groovy Plants in 2015. Groovy Plants Ranch is located about 20 minutes from Polaris or as Liz would say, “not that far up there!”
Now is the time to check out the ranch for their garden favorites to include veggies, herbs, perennials grown in-house and several varieties grown from seed. If you are like a couple people on our team and missing a green thumb – check out the air plants. Air plants typically grow from cliffs and trees and get all of their nutrients from the air.
Once you buy a plant (or several), be sure to stop by the Potter’s Saloon where “soil is always on tap” and plant your new plant(s) using their soil.
